The story behind the work…

Nearly 3,000 lives were lost in Morocco during their devastating earthquake in September 2023. Months later, they are still struggling.

Kasbah du Toubkal has long been a hospitality leader in the Imlil Valley, the gate to the Atlas Mountains just outside Marrakech. While they used to host dozens of guests a night, numbers had dropped to just two or three visitors each day following the earthquake.

Our job was to help tell the story of the Kasbah in 2024, ultimately creating an asset they now routinely use in marketing and sales efforts as they return to the numbers they were seeing before the earthquake. It was an incredible opportunity to show the world the beauty of the Imlil Valley, despite the devastation from the earthquake.
